Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is a family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during "a home invasion". The man who got away with murder is found dead and Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Shelton then issues a warning to Prosecutor Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx): either fix the flawed criminal justice system or key players in the trial will die.
Predictable from start to finish and with cretinous dialogue this film doesn't punch its weight.
Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx struggle to make the film convincing at times. It's an overwrought movie relying too much on post-production sound.
A muddle of a film but look's like it only took a day's work for all involved.
