Customer Review

VINE VOICEon 11 January 2014
Format: DVD|Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
Boy meets girl in this Belgian film but instead of your standard corny romantic drama this movie, filmed in a non-linear style, is more Byronesque romanticism than Mills and Boon romance.

The plot charts the relationship between Elise and Didier - a bond created by their shared love of American bluegrass (it is even worth watching it just for the soundtrack) - and revels in its Americana. It is sad, uplifting, downhearted, melodramatic and funny all at the same time.

Basically this is one of the best films I have seen for a long time and is a must see (especially if you are a world cinema fan).
