Customer Review

on 8 January 2014
As the author of How to be a Crafty Cruiser and having done quite a few cruises, I couldn't wait to read this book which lifts the lid behind the scenes. I was not disappointed. Derek paints a great picture of all the characters he worked with and the places he visited. There are some really funny moments in it and it seems like he has a photographic memory for all the incidents and people he came across during his career. It's very easy to read and you don't want it to finish. Whether or not you are interested in cruising, I think you will be captivated by the tales in this book. He certainly has had a very interesting life. Well done Derek.
