Customer Review

on 12 May 2012
This was a well written and very enjoyable biography of a well-loved British character actress. It didn't get bogged down in minor detail but gave a balanced account of this excellent, but troubled lady. It was very nostalgic reading about, and remembering other well-known British actors and actresses and how their working lives in theatre and film were linked over a forty year period. I would recommend this account of Margaret Rutherford's life to anyone who loves this golden era of British entertainment and one of its treasured stars.
