The other reviews of this tome fall into two categories; those that think its great, and those that think it is merely an expanded version of the instruction manual. For what I think is the intended market - someone like me who switched from 35mm to digital and is still not completely familiar with all the digital "tricks" it is great; it takes the instruction manual, and adds tips and the author's recommended settings for certain situations on the actual camera you are using, to give the most useful photo book I've read in a while. If you are a more sophisticated digital photographer then you might prefer the Simon Stafford style of manuals - but then if you are, given the speed at which digital cameras are progressing, you probably won't be using an "old" D70! For it's intended purpose, it's excellent.
