When I was a university student I heard about this book, however I lost track of it. Now that it came to me, I found the author's intended parody of modern times really enriching and suggestive: By juxtaposing our modern concepts of correctedness and politeness to the characters of fairy tales, the writer does achieve the task of moving the reader into reflection. A true depiction of what we really are behind the concepts that make us be "social animals". The book in itself is "thickness-challenged" what contributes to make it easy to read so you can finish it very quickly. There you will find the embodiment of our modern prejudices and fears covered by the furry fur of the characters that inhabit our childhood's world. Really fun, funny and revealing (and, to so extent deliciously subversive).
