This review is from: Snow White Must Die (Paperback)
Perhaps it lost something in translation (the translation of, in particular, the dialogue is not good) but if this author is a favourite in Germany then I must presume that the Germans are easily pleased. I found the book rather childish in plot and very clichéd and there were too many pointless characters who just made the whole book muddled and difficult to digest. Neither of the lead police officers made any sort of impact on me - and the author tried too hard to make them interesting by creating a marriage break-up for one of them. The other had been married to one of the other minor characters in the book who was having his own relationship problems but, quite frankly, so what. Life is too short to read bad books and I shan't be seeking out any more of Ms Neuhaus's books.
