Just to clear up the misleading review below, this box set covers the Mac's time at Blue Horizon (ie their first 2 albums, the 2 Chicago Blues Jams, an odds and sods collection (The Original Fleetwood Mac) and a 'greatest hits' Pious Bird Of Good Omen).
What you get here is remastered versions of the songs from those albums, new liner notes and a shed load of alternate takes and studio blunders (which, although interesting, makes the albums less enjoyable to listen to from start to finish unless tracks are skipped).
The notable exception is Pious Bird, which has a different track listing here. 45 minutes worth of this CD are now taken up with various versions of 'Need Your Love So Bad' - a great song, but it makes the CD unlistenable to. (My advice would be to rip it to PC and wangle it so it doesn't play the songs that are repeated each time you listen).
The actual content of the albums is amazing, but the alternate takes etc can be frustrating. To complete the Peter Green era material you also need to get the final album (Then Play On) which contains quite a few of the better known Green era Mac songs, and probably some live stuff (The Boston Tea Party CD's are great).
