Over-hyped, very disappointing,
This review is from: Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography (Hardcover)
I received this book believing there would be there would be a raft of previously unknown stories and juicy insight, however there is none of any real note. The majority of what Ferguson tells us we already knew, therefore all the hype and publicity in the press was extremely sensationalist. To call the book 'My Autobiography' is a bit of a misnomer; it is more a recollection of Ferguson's memories of the star players at United in the past ten years than the story of his life.
Not only is the book lacking in any real revelations, it is also poorly written. It often jumps from story to story without finishing the previous one, something which is quite irritating.
Conclusion: waste of money, read Wikipedia instead!
