I'm new to this type of clothing and initially bought it for outside exercise and training. I quickly realised that the benefits were not just weather protection (I have vitiligo and need UV protection and don't like getting cold either) but also for muscle protection and performance. My aging legs in particular are prone to hamstring injury on sprinting and hills and these have helped significantly. Despite weather protection I'm not over heating either. My profuse sweat productio (too much knowledge)is efficiently wicked away and I'm not exposed to chilling afterwards, especially if I remove the light top which I wear over the skins once exercise has finished. One word of advice- for putting on and off I recommend "peeling" the garments rather than just trying to pull them on or off.
