This is pretty good with some very good salads, but how anyone writing a book on Turkish salads could conceivably forget Coban Salata, the Shepherd's Salad, is quite behind me. When Iived there it was the most common salad found in any restaurant, and on the table at every meal in every household. A meal without a Coban Salata in Turkey is virtually impossible to imagine. Saying that, there's some good stuff in here, and it is well worth the price, but you'll need to go to other books to find many of the recognisable basics you'd expect to find as commonplace.
