I read the original 'More Ketchup Than Salsa' a couple of years back and thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly as I have spent the last five years living in 'sunny expat ghettos' and so can relate to his moaning clientele! Joe has a great writing style which can make even most mundane of activities highly amusing and so I was hungry for more, especially when I read that a sequel was in the works. It was definitely worth the wait - another enjoyable read from start to finish.
The book ends in around 1997 and finishes with the words, "But that's another story". With 16 more years of adventures to write about, it's 'another story' that I am very much looking forward to reading once Joe has chance to get around to writing it!
