Customer Review

on 6 March 2010
I purchased this to compliment Jack Sheldon's excellent book, The German Army at Cambrai. This Osprey/Vanguard title provides all you need to know about this famous tank if you are seeking a general appreciation of construction, variants, and capabilities. My ownly criticism, and hence the 4 stars only, is that it lacks any internal diagrams to show how the crew would have typically manned the tank. Given that crews of the Mark IV suffered a crampt and claustrophic existence during the heat of battle, I think Osprey could have commissioned an artist to present this important dimension to the reader. Nevertheless, I still recommend this book as it is a short but very useful companion guide.
