This Classic Hammer Horror was not given the right treatment at all! The picture quality is appaling. I'm understanding it to be the fault of Lionsgate. Seriously, I bought Quatermass & the Pit & Dracula, Prince Of Darkness & these two Bluray's are absolutely 'Knockout', but then, the principal Studio invovled was the fantastic Studiocanal. Oh, Lionsgate, what have you done? Once upon a time it was all about the quality, but its more than obvious, that Lionsgate was after 'the quick buck' this time. As other reviewer's have wrote, if you have the beautiful Warner box set of Hammer's Big Three (Curse of../Dracula/ Mummy)on dvd, keep with that. The picture quality on these dvd's are far more superior to this lame excuse. Let's hope Lionsgate haven't got the rights to Hammer's Dracula, which is due for a release date in March?
