Customer Review

on 21 March 2013
Mary Braddon writes scandalous novels, well they describe events that were scandalous in their time (Victorian era) but not so much now. Nevertheless, the writing is so terrifically engaging that one's interest is held and amply rewarded. I am pleased to report that the Kindle edition only had one spelling mistake that was a minor blight to a most enjoyable few nights reading.

This book was an excellent recommendation of Mary Braddon's works and I now intend to read everything she has written.
