dark and mysterious paranormal,
This review is from: The Second Sign (The Second Sign Series) (Kindle Edition)
I received this book for free as a Read4Review.
Gabby is brought up in a world where Angels and Demons are very real and a part of her everyday life, especially since her brother Max is an Angel. When her and Max move after she gets kicked out of school yet again she meets Jake, a non-believer who soon gets tangled up in her world. But Jake has much more to do with this world than anyone could have imagined.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was well written, well thought out and very descriptive. I found myself being able to easily visualize the story.
I really enjoyed the development of the characters, unlike other books I have read there were no characters who didn't play a part in the outcome of the story, even the minor ones. They were well described which again left me being able to visualize them easily. There were some quite gruesome details but I felt that these were relevant to the story and helped bring it to life.
The story is full of drama, adventure, action and the fight between good and evil as well as love and hate.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the paranormal and a gripping read. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down, although there is a lot going on in the story so it's not one that should be rushed. Just as I felt I knew how the book was going to end there was a turn of events ending the story on a really good twist.
I will be reading this book again and hope there will be more of this story to follow.
