3.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining story, very badly written, 7 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The House on Poultney Road : based on a true ghost story (Kindle Edition)
The story was great and I was hooked from the beginning, but I found the mistakes very irritating, so much so I began concentrating on these more than the story. My advice to the writer would be to get a friend to read through your next book before publication so that any glaring errors are picked up, it doesn't make for easy reading with so many mistakes.

Hi, thanks for the review - every one is appreciated. I'm pleased you enjoyed the story and apologise that you found so many errors. The book itself has now been read by more than 6000 readers, before publication was read by five trusted friends as well as two professional proofreaders. Unfortunately it would seem that unless several editors are paid for, not every mistake is picked up. You'll be pleased to know that the sequel, It a Found Me already has a professional editor, William Fruman working on it but editors don't come cheap but I agree they are an integral part of good story telling.

Again thanks for the review and should you wish to contact me or keep an eye out for the sequel you can contact/follow my progress at www.facebook.com/TheHouseOnPoultneyRoad
