NOT EVEN WORTH A ONE STAR RATING,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Mapping The First World War (Hardcover)
At the time of writing this, six others have already commented adversely and gave the book a one star rating. I can only concur with their comments. The book is a waste of good money, poorly produced and the maps are illegible as that for the East African campaign demonstrates. The text in the first 28 pages bears no relevance to the use of the maps and makes use of American English while there are, at least, one or two factual errors, e.g. Murray winning Third Gaza and not Allenby. Others have commented on the need to use magnifying glasses, however, even by resorting to that, I have still struggled. Perhaps I should have contacted Jodrell Bank? To say that I am disappointed is a total understatement and I have given one star because Amazon does not enable me to give it a big fat zero. Perhaps Amazon might like to consider negative stars...?
