This and the companion DVD show that Rush still have all the energy and zest for music-making they have maintained over the years. Despite or more likely because of their long absence from the stage, they seem revitalised here and give their all to a massive and massively enthusiastic crowd. It's an honest record of an impressive night's work -- no studio overdubs to take the rough edges off; the fact that there are hardly any rough edges just shows how well these guys can play. On the downside, yet another live set--no matter how good it is--is no substitute for a new studio album. After the powerhouse return that was Vapor Trails another set of new material is eagerly awaited. Rush have still got an awful lot of fans all over the world -- here's hoping they tour Europe and the UK soon. Very soon.
