Customer Review

on 28 January 2013
This album was originally released in 1996, to mark Quo's 30th anniversary. It is a collection of songs, all cover versions but done in Quo's style. This album, for me, marked the first time in my life when I was ashamed to admit that I liked Quo. It is absolutely terrible, the songs are just not right for a band like Quo and they are all badly played. The production on the whole album is also awful, it all sounds very flat and thin. This album was a big commercial success for Quo, at the time and was one of their biggest selling albums of the 1990s. For me, though, I have not played it for years, because I hated it then and I hate it even more now. There is not one single stand-out track and all of the singles from this album flopped in the charts. After the classic Rock Til You Drop and good Thirsty Work albums, this album was a real disappointment. I don't think that many Quo albums are crap, but this one is. Two stars from me.
