This review is from: The concise NHS handbook 2013/14 (Paperback)
I was expecting some kind of depth and analysis on current issues but instead all this book contains is basically 10 lines on everything is nothing. There is just about half a page dedicated to Any Qualified Provider and anyone who is trying to understand any of the issues associated with that will struggle to find anything of value. Similarly, the Francis report just about gets half a page, nowhere near enough to analyse two actual reports into one of the major disasters of recent years, and a recent report which contained 290 recommendations.
Ths book will teach you nothing of real interest. Save your money and go onto the NHS choices website instead. You will get more for free!
