Thor 2 : The Dark World Hammers, Hemsworth, Hiddleston and humour, everything you could possibly want from a sequel to Thor, and excuse the pun, but my God didn't they do well?
This latest release in the Marvel film collection follows Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) return to Asgard, after the battle of New York in The Avengers. Only, they return to find they must put aside their differences and work together to save Asgard, along with the help of the gorgeous Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). The over hanging question still remains through, can Thor and audiences trust the scene stealing God of mischief, Loki, with his sly tactics and his smug smirk? A brilliant performance from both Hemsworth and Hiddleston whose on screen chemistry is completely believable and honest. Two extremely fantastic characters, played by two extremely fantastic actors. It also has to be said, Christopher Eccleston was fantastic as the villainous Malekith and completely unrecognisable. The perfectly scary "bad guy".
This film is action packed and will constantly have you on the edge of your seat with suspense and anticipation. The amazingly witty one liners will make anyone laugh out loud, and so helps to make the film enjoyable to more audiences than just the superhero fans. This is why I'd advise anyone and everyone to go and see this film. I promise you will not regret it! Also be sure to keep an eye out for a brilliant and unexpected surprise cameo role! A five out of five stars film, well done once again Marvel.
