Why do they always get it WRONG?,
This review is from: Original Album Series (5 Pack) (Audio CD)
Dionne Warwick did everything right so why do these compilers screw up?
And why not issue the first 5 albums instead of jumping the years?
Just not essential at all and not the way to buy Dionne Warwick.
This review is based on the other ones here.I don't have to buy it to know that not everything they advertise is correct. Its not the first time either.Today we're used to the Proper Box,Bear Family,Ace,Cherry Red and other similar ones which are an object lesson in repackaging and its what we expect as we pay the money they ask.True they are cheap (except the German label) but if we never bought them the lables would be out of business. There is too much competition out there nowadays
Apart from that Proper Boxes would no doubt do one in the future

I think Edsel's series (some double-disc sets and a triple-disc set) might be just the answer to this, though I haven't paid close attention to how exactly chronological they are. I wish I knew how the sound compared to this Rhino set, but I think at this point I will be going for the Edsel.
