Edge of your seat thriller,
This review is from: No Second Chance (Paperback)
This is the second Coben book that I've read and it didn't disappoint. Reading it is almost like reading the script for first rate Hollywood thriller. It starts with a murder, a kidnapping and the emotional turmoil of the loss of a child, and the race - and the hope and pain - of trying to find them again.
Coben manages to pack in twists and turns in a gripping, fast paced narrative that never lets up. As I was reading I began to get that sinking feeling associated with "how is he going to end this?". Where I was expecting some poorly contrived, Hollywood ending, it was anything but. The finish was almost as satisfying as the beginning.
A first class read that will only take you a day or two to read. And it's got me wanting to pick up another Harlen Coben book. Which I just have :)
