I have to say on the first few listens it didn't really seem to grab me but once I gave 'GIRL' some serious time on the ear drums it became totally infectious! 'Happy' is still the real stand out tune but that's not to say that the rest of the songs aren't up to scratch! The opening track 'Marilyn Monroe' is a great way to start the album with its funky bass line and catchy chorus it soon gets your feet tapping away. The next track 'Brand New' featuring Justin Timberlake has a more sleek RnB style and much like JT's 'Suit & Tie' it has the funky jazz hooks mixed with a killer horn section that give it that now familiar Pharrell sound. However I was suprised that PW had included Kelly Osborne and Miley Cyrus on the album? It almost seems as if they appear just to please the label! That said Osborne's input is minimal and if your a fan of Cyrus or a hater your'll find it hard not to like the songs. I'm not gonna bang on about every track so I'll just say they are all great but give it some time in your player. 4 Stars **** It's a grower!!
