Customer Review

on 10 May 2003
Unlike other books dealing with the subject of hooliganism, Brimson has always avoided the autobiographical path and instead, delves into the culture of football violnce to get to the real root of the problem.
In his previous book Barmy Army, he examined what has been going on in England and this is the logical follow-up; the issue of Europe. And it is, quite simply, fantastic. The detail in the research is staggering and for anyone wanting to learn about the darker side of the European game, this book is a must.
An examination of South American football surely beckons.
