Customer Review

on 1 December 2012
The trouble with this toy is that most of the items are decorative - plates, photographs, a lucky horseshoe, a rolling pin - but neither the pack not the farmhouse it was designed for give you anywhere to put most of them. You need to buy extra surfaces yourself.

The packaging is rather deceitful too, since there are no Sylvanian houses anywhere that look like that on the inside. The horseshoe is particuarly bad, since it is quite impossible to hang it from any of the walls. You'll need tape or a thumbtack, for you certainly can't hammer a nail into a Sylvanian house's wall.

Unlike most ovens, the stove doesn't open, so you can't cook the pie. Additionally, knowing the shelves don't come with the pack is one thing but you can't actually buy any shelves to stick inside your houses either.

It's nice quality but ill-thought out. I should have gone for one of the regular kitchens.
