4.0 out of 5 stars Highland Captive Review - Fab Read, 24 Sept. 2010
This review is from: Highland Captive (Mass Market Paperback)
Aimil Mengue is betrothed to Rory Fergueson, a man who has secretly killed her mother and covered it up when she refused his advances. Aimil, who has been captured for ransom by the alluring Parlan MacGuin, demands a high ransom for her release. He offers Aimil the choice to either give Parlan her magnificent horse, Elfking, or give herself to him willingly. She is appalled, but wants to keep Elfking, so offers herself instead. Both become lovers, although neither one will admit their true feelings for the other. It is only when Rory finds out Aimil is with his enemy, Parlan, that the two men fight and it comes to light that Aimil and Parlan do love each other.

Overall, it is a good read. I have read a few of Hannah's books recently and been getting through them quite quickly. It is a book I will keep and read again.
