This is a beginners introduction into the world of digital photography. For anyone with a vague interest, but really does not know where to start, or what all the key components and terms are, this book is very much a good starting point. It covers areas such as camera set up, exposure, composition, lenses and flash usage in short, concise sections, aided with lots of sample pictures. Additional sections on how to store your pictures, printing and usage of Photoshop for picture editing all add to a well-rounded book aimed at the complete beginner.
If you have any reasonable kind of understanding of digital photography then this book is definitely not for you, but if you are new to the digital world and want a very basic, high level, easy to read book on the main subjects, this is a good recommendation.
