Overall I really enjoyed this series - it has some really interesting ideas, involving characters, and the 6 books as a whole create an enjoyable arc and sense of involvement in the world in which they are set.
On the downside, every book is packed full of typos, misplaced homophones and even a change in name for one of the main characters halfway through, which is then changed back again. I appreciate its difficult to find every such problem in a long piece of writing, but these were plentiful and distracting and I just *wish* this hadn't been the case as the stories themselves were great.
I also felt that books 3-4 were a bit heavy on 'bedroom antics', which distracted from the main storyline to the point of my thinking 'what, again?' at some points, and just wishing the writer had chosen to get on with the real story instead xD
Overall a good read and fantastic value for money - but would be hugely improved by a thorough going over by a decent proofreader!
