Customer Review

on 22 May 2012
I took an underwater compact camera on a recent sailing trip in the Grenadines. Snapping fish wasn't that easy, but identifying them from the book we had on board was even harder. Wanting to identify the species in my photographs, I searched Amazon and found this volume. Being a slim inexpensive book, I wasn't expecting much of it. How wrong I was. I found it possible to identify nearly every fish I had photographed, and some that I remembered without getting a recognisable shot. An added bonus was the information on corals, sponges, crustacean and plants. So, if you intend to go snorkeling on the reefs of the West Indies or Florida, then I would highly recommend this book as a quick and easy identification guide.
