The book captured me THE minute I laid hands on it. The handsome colour facsimiles of letters and official documents printed on its inside covers instantly caught my eye and plunged me into what Rosemary had to tell. I can not remember how long it had been since I read a book in a "one session only". That is probably because it is written in a way that makes you feel that you are just listening to this English girl telling you her story over a pint of Ale in pub. Amazing!! It most certainly is a fresh World War 2 story; and not only by written standards but also among what it's been offered on film. Leonard Templar
