Customer Review

on 29 December 2011
I have loved Enid Blyton's stories ever since my Nana gave me a copy that belonged to my mother when I was about eight. The O'Sullivan twins are very good, though I would always choose Malory Towers over them, to be honest. I suppose it's because Malory Towers is written for older readers and St. Clare's seems to be a little bit simpler. Also, a lot of the story-lines in this series seem to get repeated a lot, there's always a snobbish prude who gets taught a lesson in kindness and because some of the stories are written later, by a different author, there is sometimes a jolting difference in writing style, but for a child aged between ten and fourteen, that shouldn't make much difference.
