Customer Review

on 20 August 2004
OK, so what can you do with some 30 year old mono reel tapes, unedited tapes of the original recording sessions?
Add to this four newly discovered reels of backups of the edited master tapes, a lot of effort and computer trickery from Mark Ayres, and you have yourself a wonderful document of youthful memories.
Seven years on from the original CD release, this new release (FILMCD705 1997) has seen Mark Ayres add an extra 30 minutes of music to the original.
The music of Robert Mellin and Gian-Piero Reverberi from 1963 hardly shows any signs of its low-tech source. As good today as it was through that single television speaker all those years ago.
You can just see those footprints in the sand!
