Customer Review

on June 19, 2003
I'm a big fan of Margaret Atwood, so I snapped up a copy of Oryx and Crake as soon as I could.
Continuing the dystopian theme of the Handmaid's Tale, Atwood explores a world which is terrifyingly close to our own. Like the Handmaid's Tale, there's nothing in this book that hasn't happened, or could conceivably happen in the future.
It's a good read, but I found the characters a bit wooden, and it lacked the depth that made the HT so entralling. Atwood fans should definitely check it out though.
