TOP 1000 REVIEWERVINE VOICEon 15 October 2009
I have listened to this after trying out another one in the series (The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (BBC Audio)) and, for some reasons, it doesn't seem to have the same sleezy atmosphere that permiated the other recording.

Yes, it is still good. This is goood quality BBC radio drama, but the story just doesn't seem to grip as tightly as it might.

In case you're interested, the basic story line is of a resurengence of a department that wishes to be in the same league as "The Circus".

Perhaps it's the story line, perhaps it's the dramatisation, perhaps it was just my mindset when I listened to it, but I just wasn't as glued to this one as the "The Spy who came in from the cold".
