have a problem right knee, also need to lose 2 stone and get fit, so after seeing this exercise bike on offer I took steps to order, delivered in 48 hours. put together in 15 mins and away I go. after 2 sessions the computer packet in, sent e-mail via amazon and 2 days later a new one arrives and is working fine. in conjunction with a rowing machine and multi- gym and diet i've lost nearly one and a half stone in 6 weeks. and the knee is much improved too. so it does work if you put your mind to it. the bike is strong and sturdy ( I was 17 stone when the bike arrived ) will take a pounding and hopefully last a good few years. the seat is of the narrow sporty type and not having ridden a bike for years it got a bit painfull after 20 to 30 mins, so got a gel type saddle cover from tescos, sorted, so when it comes to replacing it, I would have no problems buying another.

thank you for helping me make my mind up, I have surgery on Friday but after the standard 6 weeks recovery I'll be getting one of these to help me lose my weight (I'd look ridiculous if I attempted to take up running and wouldn't get past the end of my street so indoors in private is the best way to go for me)

satan's lip says:
only just seen your reply to my post. hope your op went well. I've now lost 3 stone and at 6foot 1 tall I think 13.stone 7 is o.k. for my size so I switched to a little less on bike and rowing machine and upped the weight machine, not much but trying to tone more than weight loss. but be under no illusion , once you've lost the weight you still must carry on to ,A keep fit and B keep the weight off. it's never ending it would seem. all the best, paul.
