The little August MS425L bluetooth speaker is a cracking little speaker for the money and very well featured too.
Syncing to my iPhone took a minute or so, and basically it is so intuitive I didn't even bother with the instructions.
The speaker is supplied with a micro usb charge lead, and a line in line out lead if you want to connect something that doesn't have bluetooth, or you want to save your battery.
What I particularly like is the skip forward and back buttons, and play/pause ... all work very well, and there is a small dial for volume.
You can use it as a speaker phone if you like, especially as the music mutes automatically when a call comes in and is replaced by your ring tone.
I could be very mean and knock a star off because a couple of people thought my voice was a bit muffled on a call, possibly due to the mic being on the side of the speaker ...also, for a well featured little speaker, it is well suited for travel, and in an ideal world I would have liked to see some lead storage, or a small travel bag ... BUT ... these are very minor quibbles.
The all important sound quality is good enough ... it isn't hi-fi, but with the aid of EQ settings (on iPhone) I found the sound to be crisp and clear, and only if both phone and speaker volumes turned up to max do you get any distortion on tracks which are heavy on the bass notes.
I have used the speaker for well over three hours on a single charge ... without any sign of fade and so far have not had any problems with signal drop.
All in all, a cracking little speaker, ideal for travel. great value for money, and the sound is pretty good too.
