If you are looking for a book with lots of simple and modern bag patterns this is definitely a book worth buying. I loved the patterns and they were nice and easy to make with clear diagrams.
If you are looking for a book on handprinting them, I think this book could have had a lot more. The author mentions 12 methods of printing but she only gives a paragraph for each. I saw the lovely bags on her website and was hoping this book would teach me how to do it. It looks like she uses screen filler on screens and this technique wasn't mentioned. What is very useful is that she gives a list of both UK and US suppliers at the end of her book. If you want a good fabric printing book to go with this bag book buy Printing by Hand by Lena Corwin.
