Good, But Only Because There Is No Other Choice,
This review is from: Formula 1 Review: 1971 [DVD] (DVD)
These season reviews are great if, like me, you like seeing off-track footage as much as the action from the races because that is what they consist of mostly.
Limited to one or two cameras at each race, there is an inevitable concentration on practice sessions and interviews. Do not expect lots of overtaking, accidents or on-track action.
That said, there is no other way to get footage of these years and, assuming anyone who is thinking of buying something like this is already somewhat knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the era, these films are of great interest. The commentary is very good, making the most of the somewhat limited visuals.
The acid test is that I have watched them all, all the way through, more than once. The price is high for the duration (30mins per year) but as I said, there is no other option if you want video for this era.

Wow - Only 30 minutes long and £20! Thanks for the info - I think I will give these DVDs a miss. I assumed it would be 60 or 90 minutes at least.
