You may have seen the track 'The Golden Age' on the 2011 Heineken ad -- the one with the guy who turns up at a party which seems to revolve entirely around him. The singer who a lot of people online seem to think is Duffy is actually Danish vocalist Mette Lindberg, and the rest of the band playing is the touring version of their band.
If you haven't heard that track, it's worth tracking it down on YouTube now, or listening to the sample. It does sound a lot like something that Duffy might have sung, but a lot more fun, much more 'out there', and far richer in its references to the past stars of stage and screen. Musically, it has enormous amounts of stuff happening that you very, very rarely hear in any kind of pop, and the whole thing grooves along. It's one of the most distinctive tracks I've heard for a long time, and not a big surprise that someone snaffled it for an advert. Kudos to Heineken for actually writing a whole ad around the band playing, rather than just taking the music.
Golden Age is the stand-out track on the album, but there's lots more in a similar vein, and you're unlikely to be disappointed by the other tracks.
This is a great album. Watch out for more.
