This review is from: Beurer PM25 Award Winning Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Sports)
The product is supplied with a cursory "short instruction" card and no further manual or operational guide.
One enters a set of personal data in the user menu but there's no indication whether the monitor then calculates personalised training zone numbers or whether you're supposed to enter ones you've calculated yourself elsewhere. If the former, mine were absurdly high. And if the latter, well every adjustment I attempted pushed them higher still.
It's apparently incapable of simply taking a resting heart rate - either that or I'm already clinically dead and no one's told me. The method of starting it when you want to run is so completely obscure that in two hours of messing about with the damn thing I haven't found it...
There's more but I'm losing the will to live...
It's going back.

Mine came with a proper instruction manual, both in English and German (30 pages in English and 30 pages in German). Following the instructions the monitor is easy to set up and use.
