RAW Workflow from Capture to Archives
By Philip Andrews, Yvonne J. Butler and Joe Farace
Raw Workflow from Capture to Archives really is a book for the reference section of any budding photographer. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced user of RAW files, this book caters for the entire gamut of skill levels within its covers. Information is made incredibly simple, due to its plethora of user friendly illustrations. The screen grabs and the professional photos aide to detail the ease in which you can maximize efficiency within your RAW workflow. The colour coordinated chapters make this book a brilliant reference tool.
The authors have not shown any bias towards a particular brand as they explore all available RAW conversion and management software available on the market, in both PC and MAC formats. As well as RAW, the book also explains other computer jargon that the digital photographer may come across. Such concepts as JPEG and TIFF files as well as USB vs. Firewire are explained, which is excellent for broadening the user's knowledge of their digital surroundings. If in doubt, the in depth glossary will explain all. Raw Workflow from Capture to Archives is sure to improve anyone's workflow efficiency and their understanding of RAW management.
