This review is from: Spider-Man and the Black Cat: Nos. 1-6 (Paperback)
I read some of the reviews before buying this for my collection and thought this wouldnt be up to scratch people saying kevin smith dropped the ball as the story got in deeper. I couldnt disagree more this is probably one of the most emotionally hard hitting comics I think ive ever read. A fantastic disection of people not just superheroes im writing this literally just after ive read it and im literally speachless kevin smiths writing style has a way of connecting with people in a way that is unmatched there in lies the veauty of this 6 issue series. The artwork is typically comic book in the first few issues but when it gets to the nitty gritty switches to match the sheer bleakness of the story being told.
My opinion is i love this book but like kevin smith himself says check it out yourself and make up your own mind dont listen to reviews be your own critic. If you like it you like, it if you dont you dont, but in the long run dont let someone elses opinion tarnish how you feel about what you enjoyed at the time
