Customer Review

on 2 July 2013
It's hard to sum up the Hollies using only twenty words-so here goes. He's no Allan Clarke but he can sing! I lost a bit of interest in their albums when Clarke retired. He was and still is irreplaceable. You've got to sing a big array of different songs when you're dealing with the Hollies as they cover such a wide spectrum.Pop,Rock,Ballads,Folk,Country etc...I've only seen the pre-2000 line up and was always bowled over by the sheer power in Alan Clarke's voice! The instruments played are magnificent showing the new boys just how it should be done. I assume from the cover there are no studio gimmicks/trickery as most live albums are these days and the sound is well mixed and produced by Tony's son- Paul. God bless you Hollies- I might try the new line up live before you hang up your hats for the last time!
Big Holliesfan John.
PS Forgot about the twenty words-that's just impossible!!
