This review is from: Daddy's Little Princess (Kindle Edition)
Each time Cathy Glass releases a new book I always have a small fear that I wont love and connect to it like I have the others. This was luckily not the case with Daddy's Little Princess.
I sympathized with Beth from the very beginning of this book, and much like Cathy I had a suspicion something was not quite right between Beth and her father, Derek.
Cathy's writing style kept me from putting the book down. "I'll just finish this chapter and then go to bed" is one of the phrases I thought alot throughout this book (as with all her others). As it happens, I found myself finishing the book within 2 evenings, and consequencly very tired at work the next day!
Cathy also touched upon the previously mentioned topic of her husband. Cathy had mentioned in her previous books that John had been unfaithful, and her children, Adrian and Paula were having weekend visits with him. But she goes into more detail in this book, taking us through what actually happened and how deeply it affected her and her young children. Cathy's mum summed up all our feelings quite perfectly: He's a bastard!
Well done Cathy on another excellent book. I will now be eagerly awaiting the next!
