This book has been a god send for us. My husband doesn't eat dairy and the soy ice cream in the shops either taste bad or are too expensive. All the recipes I've made have turned out great (chocolate, cookie dough, peanut butter) and I was able to find all the ingredients in the UK. I have one problem though. The ice cream tends to stick to the side of the machine but that's not the fault of the recipe. I add about 1 tablespoon of alcohol and it helps.
