I've had this bad for a while now but recently took it on holiday to New York for a week. I carried the bag every day for several hours and found it to be extremely comfortable! The shoulder straps are very well padded and easily adjusted to fit. The total weight of the bag with all my kit was 6KG, so that gives you some idea of what I was carrying.
Inside the bag I had :
o Canon 600D
o Canon 24-105 F4L IS USM with reverse mounted lens hood (attached to camera)
o Canon 70-300 F4-5.6L IS USM with reverse mounted lens hood
o Canon 50 F1.8 (nifty 50) with lens hood stored separately
o Spare battery and charger
o UV filters fitted to the zoom lenses
o Polarising filters for the zoom lenses stored in their boxes
o Rocket blower
o Cleaning cloth (front pouch)
o Spare memory card (in lid of camera compartment)
o Lens pen (top compartment)
o HDMI cable (top compartment)
o GorillaPod SLR Zoom with ball head (top compartment)
o All A4 documents for holiday in plastic pouch (in back pocket)
I still had enough room to keep gloves, scarf, wooly hat, jumper and sweets in the top compartment! I could also have fitted my Kenko Extension Tubes in the camera compartment, but I figures I wouldn't need those in NY so left them at home.
The idea was to also carry my netbook in the back pocket, but this put the bag over the 6GB weight limit for hand luggage, so my wife had to carry that instead. But there was certainly enough room for it and it would have been very well protected.
In use, the bag was a dream. As mentioned, it was very comfortable for long periods of time. One feature that I couldn't now be without is the easy access to the camera by swinging the bag around to the front while still supported on my left shoulder. It was easy to go from using both shoulder straps to the easy access position and back again without putting the bag down. I was initially worried that the left shoulder strap wouldn't be up to supporting 6KG while the bag was flung about, but after doing this a few times, I can see that the great construction of the bag means this isn't a problem.
The side netting also got some good use as storage for a bottle of water. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to access when the bag is over both shoulders, unless you are very flexible (which I'm not).
One downside of the bag is that it is not an 'AW' (all weather) bag. Although covers that fit the bag are available, it would have been nice for one to be included.
Overall, I am very impressed with this bag and would recommend to others.
