This little book of cakes is mouthwateringly delicious and no calories!! Patterns are easy but I would say aren't for a new starter at knitting. I only bought the book last week and I've made the wedding cake, chocolate cake, doughnuts and fairy cakes and when presented on a cake stand look just like the real thing. I would recommend this book to all knitters with a little experience. Enjoy.

Help! I'm very pleased with myself having just finished knitting the doughnut - my first time using double pointed needles. But I can't understand how I'm supposed to join the doughnut together. So I suppose my only criticism is that some of the instructions are too basic. If someone could please tell me how to join the dougnut up so that it is ... a dougnut!! ... i'd be very very grateful, and so would my 8 year old brother who I'm making this for!!
