Almost all of the recipes in this book rely heavily on vegan meat and cheese substitutes, including TVP and packaged vegan hamburgers. I'm not a big fan of these processed foods, and prefer recipes based around vegetables, grains, legumes, etc. I feel a bit unfair giving this an 'okay' rating as I haven't actually tried any of the recipes, and based on the multitude of positive reviews I'm sure they are very tasty if you like eating a lot of meat and cheese substitutes. However, i feel it wasn't made clear to me in the cookbook description that this was it's nature. I'm afraid I won't be using this cookbook.
